When I ask too many questions, I apologize in advance. I started grazing the doors of my 1964 Bussing b2000 A / O. These are welded to the inside door panel of the right rear door. I have no idea what they are for. I thought about cutting them off unless they serve an important need. The finger tabs are frozen and do not move.

    Greetings from the United States.

I am currently building a Bussing b2000 from 1964. I searched for answers in the forum, but unfortunately didn't find any. I don't have the original driver's seat. I thought about using a Volkswagen Type 2 bus seat from 1968-79. What did everyone else use for their driver's seat when no original is available? There has to be a better choice than the Volkswagen seat? All entries are estimated.

Hello, I have sent emails to both companies, the manufacturer and the ebay seller. I have not yet received a response. I'll keep trying.

    Best regards,

I am currently restoring my 1964 Bussing b2000. I need to find new windshield rubber for the glass. What is available Is there a replacement rubber that is used by another vehicle? What do everyone else use? Any help is appreciated. thanks

    George.

    Hello Frank,

Thank you for your reply. I'm working on it slowly and I do not have much money to spend. Some of the parts I got here in the US are seals and the like. When I get to the other parts, I know more about what I need. The engine was rebuilt and runs and drives now. My next step is to bring it to a standstill. The brakes are charged here again (cheaper than Matz exchange as shipping kills me). Right now I need the back drums. New is good, but beggars can not be a choice. As long as they are still operational and within tolerances, I want (need) a set of brake drums in the back. Thank you very much.

    George.
