Hallo werte Gemeinde,
3.
Ihr die webseite
www.berlin-patrol.com
besucht um mehr zu erfahren.
Antworten bitte an
scout@berlin-patrol.com
.

Dear friends of historical military vehicles!
Next year on August 13th will be the 50th anniversary of the building of the Berlin wall that separated East and West for decades. The Berlin clubs “West Alliierte in Berlin e.V.” and “United States Military Vehicles Collectors e.V.” (USMVC e.V.) are eager to commemorate this date with a big international military vehicle meeting in Berlin, to be called the
Berlin Patrol
.
The plans center around a meeting on a historical location in Berlin for all kinds of military wheel-vehicles from the time 1945 – 1994, the period of allied presence in Berlin. Vehicles with tracks, halftracks are excepted. This invitation is extended to all clubs and owners of American, British, French as well as Bundeswehr Oldtimers. A broad spectrum is planned to take place in Berlin on the weekend of August 13
th
2011, culminating in a parade, the details of which are still in the planning stage.
We hope with this mailing to determine the level of interest for such an undertaking on this date and would be pleased if you could:
1.
Let us know by the 29
th
of October, 2010, the possible number of participants (number of persons and number of vehicles), keeping in mind that this is NOT in any way a binding reservation!!
2.
Inform anyone you may know who might be interested in participating so we may keep them informed.
3.
Visit
www.berlin-patrol.com
to learn more and register for the mailing list.
Send all responses to
scout@berlin-patrol.com
.
Remember – your response is not a binding reservation, but rather an expression of interest. Further information will be supplied as quickly as possible by mail or over the new website
www.berlin-patrol.com
. It will, of course, include information about the extent of the program, conditions for participating, how to reserve, etc.
With all best wishes,
